I did get to see it spoiler-free! My friends who saw it before me are too kind, and I've not gone poking around at the fan sites and stuff too much, so. :D
OH GOD, I know. :( The Incident happened, and then he just kept on putting them in such horrific situations... I kept cursing Joss for almost killing people because for a few minutes there, I was totally thinking "rocks fall, and everyone dies" in the back of my mind and it was just bad. Er. You know what I mean, I hope. I am le incoherent right now.
i am amazed that you were able to avoid spoilers... i am a dork and read spoilers/reviews before watching movies ALL THE TIME. oh, and Alan Tudyk (Wash) grew up in Plano! i think i love him. ;-)
Oh, I was sorely tempted by all the shiny, believe me... I think a few more days and my patience would have given in. I don't tend to look for spoilers in general, though.
Are you kidding? I LOVE Firefly. :D Have you seen past the first disc yet? It gets even better later on... truly one that was struck down before its time.

It was really much darker than I expected. After it (you know what I mean) happened, I thought they were all going to die.
We saw it in the cinema, a two hour drive for us. We cried all the way home.

Serenity is love. I don't know what my problem is with Simon/Kaylee, though! Just doesn't work for me, I guess. *shrugs*
Oh, icon love! :D That's one of my favorite moments from the pilot.
