Happy (late) Beltane, everyone! Yeah, I haven't posted in a few days. So sue me, I've been busy.
So classes are finally over for the semester, with the exception of exams. I can't believe how fast these past few weeks and especially the past couple of days have gone--it's all been a blur. I have friends who are old enough to graduate and go off ( Read more... )

my two cents would be to really "invest" some of it in some nice stuff that can be used year after year.
Yeah, the first thing we're paying for is the shade tent we used yesterday. One of our members bought it outta her pocket, so we're going to pay her back. Being able to bring our own shade -- which can be transformed into a gypsy tent, or a million other things -- makes it so much easier for us to come to outdoor events and stage our own. And since we will own it, we don't have to beg a tent from our membership every time.
We can stretch a penny until it turns into copper wire, so I think this windfall will carry us far...it's more than our last two Senate budgets combined!
