Today is like a children's painting. The sky is that intense but-only-one-shade of blue and the clouds look like cotton wool. I've wanted to update all week, but I always feel that my update is gonig to be long and rambly and far beyond the 150 interseting word cut off that people seem to tune out after on lj. With a few exceptions, I have some friends who so rarely post it is like getting a long letter in the mail. BUt I am always afraid of being too wordy.

Rain rain rain. I love the smell of rain. Rich and almostearthy but not quite. It is so humid here today that when I step out from the airconditioned office my glasses start to fog up. But it feels so alive outside and the rain is heavy and drenching and I hope it falls for a little longer.
