You're not a nurse - you're a licensed practical nurse. There is HUGE difference with that.

Woah... number one... M6 nurses are training on a MUCH higher leval of nursing than civilian practical nurses. In the end we do much more things that only RNs are able to do that in the civilian world, practical nurses are not allowed to do. Why? Because in the Army, there are not enough RNs to go around so we have to be training to do a lot more. Many M6 nurses are able to be the NCLEX-RN without doing much more additional schooling? As far as the NCLEX-PN liscencing goes the Army soldiers at this school pass at a rate of 99% FIRST TIME PASS RATE. Compared to an 86% pass rate in the civilian schools. Don't tell me there is a huge difference because there isn't. We are much more qualified nurses than the civilian LPN. And if you are a nurse - RN... you obviously are not in the military because you don't the guts to not post anonymously.

At the same time you have no business telling me that I'm not a nurse when I am. That is my title and I'm training well beyond a civilian practical nurse.
