Thanks. It's really a relief to have a decision made. I filled out the form today and I'll hand it in tomorrow. Baby steps.

I don't think you want to hear my story, but I decided to stay for a second year and I don't regret it for a second. There's a lot less uncertainty and scariness in your second year. You begin to develop a routine, the lessons become easier, the students are more comfortable with you... And keep in mind that this is the very worst time of year. It just gets better from here. Sakura season is coming and I'm sure you won't regret that you'll get to see that a second time.

Anyway, in the end the decision is all yours. I'm sure you've carefully weighed all the pros and cons over and over again.

I MUST have the form in by February 6th, but I may turn it in this week, maybe even tomorrow. The earlier the town can get started on prep for the next JET, the better.

And I'm just ready to get it over with. It's like pulling off a bandaid.
