I don't know why, but I'm in a bad mood today. Partially it was to do with the weather; it got cold and rained. There's nothing like cold rain to make you feel miserable. Another part of it was that I had to do really taxing manual labor all day preparing for the graduation ceremony at Kuroiwa that I won't even be there to see. Kind of steams my ( Read more... )

the cherry blossoms in Kochi are scheduled (yes, scheduled) to bloom on the 24th. Kochi`s are scheduled to be the first to bloom in Japan! it really sucks that i wont be here to see them till April... ;-;

i`m going to miss your birthday. :[ but i can make it up by bringing you something back from America if you like? lol

Ugh, that sounds awful (the weather and subsequently the mood :P) I recently visited my dad's cousin, who since retiring has bought a winter home in Vero beach to escape the grey hell that is Michigan from January to May. Just listening to them talk about how everyone gets so depressed made me think twice about living somewhere it snows. Apparently his daughter in law called to complain that she'd not seen the sun in a month. .__.

You should come to Sakawa. ;) We have some of the most beautiful cherry blossoms in Japan (apparently.)
