If you don't mind me saying. You are one of the few fans i have come across that takes the analytical approach to reviewing an episode that is quite a refreshing thing to see and read. In fact, you are able to catch and put down all the things i think about but can't fathom into words. Kudos ( ... )

So when the mannequin gets soulled up it becomes a killer, or evil. Interesting!

I believe the implicit crux of analogy is the *quality* of a soul a mannequin gets possessed by. Rose, while not inherently evil - became a vengeful spirit upon a traumatic, hurtful experience.
What Sam's soul experienced in the Cage is presumably exponentially by a millionfold worse. And Sam wasn't the sweet, harmless 'Rose' to begin with. So I'm just left wondering where that parallell might be headed, if there's indeed a parallell in there somewhere.
