Apparently, I'm still in the mood for some going-berserk-over-Dean-going-to-Hell season 3 Sam (or just berserk-over-Dean-in-peril Sam, in general). A teeny-tiny drabble to pinpoint an idea I've had for Sam's MO through that hideous year.

You captured such profound sadness and determination in such short piece. Season 3 Sam is my favorite by far. Whenever I find myself annoyed with the character lately, I like to indulge myself in the Sam from back then.

I'm so glad the piece worked for you.
Yeah, season 3 is a good place to reconcile my gripes with Sam's character too, at times. Not always, alas, but on certain occasions the pain and fright he underwent over the prospect of loosing Dean back then is just palpable.
