Since the angsty season 6 ficlet refuses to wrap itself up properly for now, and I'm sorely missing the mutual 'caring' state-of-affairs in the Winchester Brotherdom of Woe, Dean's post-hell trauma and the ordeal of nightmares thereof is, as ever, an incessant source of inspiration, in this respect.

I'm sure this has been transcribed in fanfiction
