If ever there was a depressing time for Dean (and when was it *not*?!), this is it now. For Dean's aware (the latest episode made sure of that much) that he's completely on his own, hunt or no hunt. Which is all the more tragic, since Dean managed to call out to *his* Sammy from within Lucifer, the evil incarnate, yet now i believe Dean comprehends it might not be possible, with nobody but Sam's mind proper within the 'bodily vessel'.

I've never heard the song before! So thanks for the prompt too!
I usually tend to get title inspirations from Emily Dickinson (her poetry just 'clicks' in sync with the darker themed fiction 'verses, to my mind).
