Have you watched Battlestar Galactica (the new one)? If you haven't -- TRY IT. It's military scifi, so I think you might find it interesting. It's also about social commentary, faith, family, the difficulties of politics; it's about everything that matters in human life. It's touching, intelligent and also funny.

...I'm such a fangirl. But it really is so. Damn. Good.

If you want to watch funny people, I rec Community and Parks & Recreation. NBC had a great Thursday comedy lineup this year!

ahaha yes, I started watching BSG before then kinda fell out of it. I will watch it this summer though!!
