I wondered about Amazu! Very clever; nice little fairly tale for a sunny morning!

Interesting twist on the slayer army. I have to admit that makes good sense!

Thanks! It seemed a likely outcome given Willow's power sharing spell and Angel's alley of demon portals...not a pretty world and it would take one with power (and our own hero) to right things. I figured Spike's demon would relish living eternally as the essence of the Slayers and his soul could go be with his loved ones at last. It seemed like what he'd do under the circumstance...He'd like the irony if nothing else
from Slayer of Slayers to Essence of Slayer (hum...sounds like a perfume).

I love how you hinted at Amazu's true name without revealing, the hints of "Buf-my Slayer" and all the nicknames. And so the cycle begins anew...very sneaky of you -- making a Witch tale become a Slayer one! lol

Thanks sweetie! I wanted it pretty clear by that time but wanted no "S" word to appear *G*. I just thought that Spike's demon would love to continue eternally as the essence of the slayers while his soul finally got to join the others in reward. It seemed fitting. Yup, my witch became the Chosen, leave it to me!

My complete pleasure. It seemed one likely result of the things we saw on Buffy and Angel and I wanted a glimmer of hope, of reclaimation. Thank you for your comments.

That is wonderful - I could see who would be The Fierce one, and I was right - which made it even better, from my point of view!

Thank you. It just seemed to be what Spike would offer to do and also was an ironic eternal fate for his demon IMHO. I like the idea of his soul reuniting with his loved ones and the demon going from Slayer to Slayer empowering the Chosen. So glad you liked it!

Thank you. I just had to look to the far future that might have been with the way things were left on the show.
