So, killerclown9915 and I were talking about Ozymandias and what sort of music he'd listen to. She pointed out that, at one point, he'd mentioned what music he liked, so we tracked it down. It's in the interview at the end of chapter 11. He said:
"I like electronic music. That's a very superhero-ey thing to like, I suppose, isn't it? I like avant-garde music in general. Cage, Stockhausen, Penderecky, Andrew Lang, Pierre Henry. Terry Riley is very good."
Of course, we'd never heard of any of those artists before, so we decided to track them down. What we found was so WHAT THE FUCK inducing that we had to share. I have compiled some songs by most of the artists he listed for your listening torture pleasure? It's on shuffle, just hit play and be unsettled enjoy!
Ozymandias listens to some weird shit, jesus christ. I mean, I can easily picture comic!Ozy meditating to this in his orrery. But, by "meditating", I mean that I think he had more than that one ball of hashish.
You guys remember how Veidt said he programmed various things into the squid monster's brain signal, to make people go insane? One of the things he programmed in was sounds. I bet it was that.
