Bartleby is cross-legged on the bed, back against the wall, surveying the small room. He hasn't been here for a long time. It feels colder and lonelier than it used to. Not home anymore.

He wasn't in their room. And yes, Charlie thinks of it as their room. He'd been downstairs all night, thinking over their conversation that afternoon, and knew he'd have seen it if Bartleby left throught the front door.

So that leaves this.

He raps on the door to Bartleby's old room in the staff quarters and says, "It's me. You there?"
