1. The Moth is one of my favorite episodes of all time. I love the whole metaphorical Charlie coming out of the cocoon thing, and how he finally feels like he's worth something.
2. SAWYER. These are probably my favorite Sawyer episodes. He's sooo pretty.
3. SAYID JARRAH YOU CRAZY MOTHER EFFER. &hearts
4. The golf course remains as the second cutest Lost moment, right after the van ride in Tricia Tenaka is dead XD
Okay so I'm only caught up on House Of The Rising Sun, but MAN, DO I LOVE SAYID'S FLYING SQUIRREL JIN TACKLE. One of many reasons why I adore that episode to pieces.
I'm kinda one of those people who didn't really like the Moth, especially. This is probably because I never especially liked Charlie either, nor had any ties to Dom at all not being into LOTR. But I do think that Jack being trapped in the cave and Kate's sudden devotion to rescuing him says a lot about the relationship they've established in such a short time together. It's a great early set up to the whole case debacle with the Kate/Sawyer/Jack triangle. Prior to perhaps Confidence Man, it kinda seemed to me in the very early eps that the triangle was actualy Kate/Jack/Sayid, until Kate and Sawyer started discovering each other's secrets and becoming more flirtatious or hateful or whatever.
More from me when I watch all these eps! I'll try and do HOTRS and Moth tomorrow and then the Super Sexy Spy Double on Wednes (my time). I can't wait to get around to Raised By Another. I love that ep so much, for some reason.
Thought I'd drop another comment in now I've seen up to Confidence Man; assuming this comm is still going. I just have some random stuff to say, lol.
1. One thing that always gets me about this ep is the way Sawyer chooses to reveal himself to Kate. When she asks him what he wants and then reads the letter, he had the opportunity to tell her the truth about it, but alontg with that not being a Sawyer thing to do, it's as if he wanted her to hate him too - as much as he wants to be hated by everyone else, as much as he hates himself. I've always felt with Sawyer that ultimately, the way he acts boils down to how he feels about himself and so forth. He can't imagine being loved or even liked and so he generally pushes that away when it comes to him. Along with that, when Kate first reads the letter she does that little pause of disgust and finds it hard to say out loud, which paints her as someone normal or innocent in a way, and it's not until she figures out that Sawyer wrote the letter that he reveals the truth to her so candidly.

I'd also like to mention that I absolutely can't watch the scene where Sayid puts the bamboo under Sawyer's nails. *Shudders* It pains me. LoL.
