As you've all heard, LJ's starting to purge all accounts that suggests anything that may be illegal.

It's now to the point they're deleting accounts for icons that look relatively suggestive-- they are ESPECIALLY looking for chibified icons and icons resembling to children.

So, when you say chibified, does that mean I should rid of this one even if it's not suggestive? Or is it safe?

...well, I know I'm freaked. Even if Ginny's journal doesn't have anything in it they'd count on their list.

I'm not worried, really. It's just paranoia and LJ trying to handle it the best they can. Eventually, one of the big wig's is going to step up and say "This is nucking futs!" and that will be the end of it.

Yeah, same for me. Thankfully none of the icons I use that are suggestive involve anyone who appears underaged. I think the worse I have is an icon of Fuji giving Ryoma a CD and the quote "There is 700MB of porn on this CD. Something to remember me by". And then there are my Fujicest icons. None of which are explicit, but ya never know. And maybe a couple questionable interests. I had to delete things like "killing off the fbi" and "killing all evil doers" from Light's LJ interests, for instance. Wah.

This... is freaking nuts. Seriously. I just went to my personal lj and my fandom lj and deleted all the interests, b ut I find myself wondering... I have icons of my kids on my regular lj - plus a few arsey (adult) icons for a rimming comm i'm a part of. do those count? when did this turn into a police state!? I'm half tempted to put in my user info "Mum. Artist. Writer. Sundayschool teacher 3creds from being ordained. Please don't delete, I'm really a very nice woman. kthnx."

Sadly, they don't know if those are really your kids or not.

This is raising a lot of commotion and it's not appreciated by most people. DX

Total suckage.

I just went through and deleted my kids icons, then wrote to them asking if I can HAVE my kids icons. Because, like, I have a permanent account, and I shoud THINK having paid what I paid, I should count. pft.
