Claire was IC too, and I liked her concern for Nathan but how she got her resolve back. I like that she does talk back to him because while scared, she doesn't crumble so easily.

Sylar's able to control people the way he controlled Claire in "An Invisible Thread" long before he sends Doyle to Danko (alive). If you look at his hand gestures when he's controlling Claire, they're the same as always when he's using TK'; small, pointed, and he's not mimicking exactly what he wants her to do, which is Doyle's power. Now, there's no proof that he didn't kill Doyle after he delivered him to Building 26, but the last time we see Doyle is when Danko is showing him to Noah, alive and sedated in the room full of specials, and Sylar makes no mention of killing him or taking his power.

But since it's never established that he took Doyle's powers (however that may have occurred), I'm going to go with that he didn't for the sake of the story. :)
