a/n: i have so many things to do and write and here i am writing fluffy drabbles of this pair. my undying love for gwiboon remains untouched, ok.
she let herself heavily fall on the mattress, panting and half laughing. her hair was a mess, her pearly skin was hot and so was the air she was exhaling. in that moment, she could still feel the world spinning and hanging on her heels, she could still see the lights swirling and prancing around her. the white dress she was wearing scattered its folds on the bed, she extended her slim arms and patiently waited for her breath to come back.
she finally heard footsteps getting nearer, and a wide smile appeared on her pink lips. he was almost there.
he stood under the door frame, still holding the doorknob when he saw her laying on the matress.
"are you out of your mind?" he asked, indignantly looking at her. there were no angry feelings echoing in his voice. his eyes, though, they were wide and kind of expecting the unexpected.
"why are you asking?" she asked back, a teasing tone loud and clear in her words.
"why did you start running like that?" exasperated he asked, letting go of the doorknob and walking in. she hid her smile, and nonchalantly looked away. her hair waved alongside of her head, and he could admire her perfect skin glow under the gentle sunlight.
"i had reservations for that restaurant, you know, we pr--"
"i wanted to prove something." she said, staring out of the window, through the curtains.
"was it really necessary to leave me like that?" she only nodded in response, looking back at him, a playful grin taking place again. "what did you want to prove?" he was curious, arching his brow.
"i wanted to see whether you'd chase me or not." she simply stated, as if it was the most common, natural thing to do in a first date. he frowned, but something pulling at his lips made them quirk up.
"of course I would, Gwiboon." he breathed out, resting a hand on his hip. Gwiboon laughed again, her eyes turning into pretty slits, her teeth showing like a little kid's.
"I'm glad you did, Jonghyun."
