Ah yes, perfectly good reason why Lestrade avoids relationships. But now John knows and it doesn't bother him. And clearly wolf!Lestrade likes John. Even keener to know what happens next.

Oh, I love the twist this took. It's especially poignant that Lestrade allows himself to show affection openly for John when he thinks he's incognito. The descriptions of how he and Sherlock relate while he's in the wolf form are especially compelling. Looking forward to more!
