Are you, or do you know a person who knows about things like business plans, grant writing, marketing strategies and suchlike? I need to pick the brain of such a person. Likely over food and/or drinks, which will be supplied by me for the efforts.

I can help you out with a lot of that. I cannot tell you much (or anything) about grant writing, but I can certainly get you started writing a business plan and talk marketing strategy until you're ready to tape my mouth shut.

kickstarter may be a great replacement for or preliminary step to begging for grants, depending on what you're doing. I have invites to spare if you decide to use it (I haven't publicized my kickstarter project yet.)
