so after listening to "Getting Into You" by Relient K i think i had an epiphany (gosh i like that word-its like the smell of rain). Anywho. listening to this song makes me wanna become a better person. im not saying im gonna b a saint but idk how to explain it. the song opened up my eyes and helped me realize that i want to make something of my ( Read more... )

ya know thats just the start there are plenty of christian bands with a positive message, now since you surf I know you have to listen to switchfoot. There is an article in either a music or a surfing magazine about how switchfoot is still winning surfing competitions. But try this band. David Crowder Band, i recommend the song " No One Like You"

and i figured a change was needed.
im not saying im gonna be perfect
but idk. i dont wanna change totally.

being good doesnt necesarilly have to have anything to do with church though
i know a lot of people(including myself) that have never been to a sermon in their life that are still gernerally nice.

just dont like how the mainstream way of saying if someone is good or not, is how often they go to church.

yeah i stopped going to church b/c the way they made me feel.
i think thats when i kinda started to lose faith in EVERYTHING
