Okay! Naoi's deal in canon is that he can hypnotize someone by looking into their eyes and making a suggestion. He only needs a couple of seconds, and he is very good at it. You can tell when he's using it because his eyes turn red

Hmmm, it probably wouldn't work very well or at all on Persona users, would it? I'm assuming that embracing your true self/manifesting your inner self would give one pretty tough resistance to hypnosis. Probably safe to assume it would likely be more ineffective than useful on them!
