There was an incident of me being stroppiness after going up to a DJ at a local night billed as industrial and making a request for *any* of about 12 bands. He said "don't have any of those" and put on more bleepy crap.
Next time I went I had lower expectations so was happy with the handful of tracks that were OK. Someone there described me as an "industrial purist" (they may have heard the what-you-call-EBM-is-not-EBM standard rant). I had housemates of the naming-all-skinny-puppy-side projects type when I was younger. Maybe skewed my threshold.
