Wow, what a wonderfully racy version of Serenity you've created here. :D Demonstrating something to Wash through role-play is probably a very apt technique, as I do think he enjoys a little make believe.

Thank you! I had two images running through my mind while writing this that really helped me imagine this--firstly, in "War Stories" that Mal helps Wash survive by basically being a bastard and that's just how Mal does things...and then there was a moment--I think in the same episode, when Zoe walks by and Wash just smacks her ass and she almost giggles...I defintely think they're was some "games" played in that relationship.
