Clinton was the one who was to timid to do anything and most people assume he was such a great president because all of the ACTUAL current events coincided with his sexual trial. Yes, the country is in debt. So is everyone else in the world. I was once; hey this war is killing people. Ask the actually people in the war, you'd be damned pressed to find one who doesn't support it, most have reason to be in it.

You can't compare this to Vietnam, since that war did nothing. We have caught a tyrant, stabilized a major threat to the world and have found a source of oil, if we ever start to pump this shit out. No offense to all you human activist who say we are depleting a country of its oil. Assume this, how many paved roads? How man cars? How many factories? I rest my case. Gas prices are high, I pay those gas prices everyday, I live with it. I pay taxes, I live with it. People who do not even feel the burden of this certain things have no where to talk about.

C'mon Joey. Everyone isn't out to get you. Stop being so pessimistic... If you look, you'll see that I argued against Krista's statement that we are shoving technology down the throats of Iraqis and that we should get involved in African famine rather than Iraq. I'm not taking any sides in this issue. None of us even FULLY understands the issues at hand. We are all, basically, regurgitating the information we receive 2nd, 3rd, even 4th hand! I would like to talk to the soldiers involved in combat and the Iraqi citizens to get a real feel for this war and its effects. Do you have any family in the armed forces? You seem very defensive of them. I admire that, by the way. I support our troops too ( ... )

shes just expressing how she feels joey
i take it offensively, a 'human activist' i am, and we don't support the roads, the cars, the factories. which is why they are creating things more environmentally safe. solar powered cars, and other things. we're not of age to do anything [aka vote] so this is what we do. we write about what we feel. i hope thats not a problem
and about the war

how can you let someone, who spent his years as a teenager, as a man do everything in his power to AVOID going into war, send people out to their death in iraq? spending our money for a cause that ISN'T THERE, for revenge, something to help what his father could never do.

tell me, what are the troops doing in iraq, joey?
and don't you dare say rebuilding it. rebuilding our mistakes , for blowing up a country for a group of peoples actions. because it's not OUR country, and if you haven't noticed, they don't WANT US in there.

I mentioned they had the choice to go or not, yes, the president had the choice to send them and they agreed. The presidents job isn't peace, because if that was the case then you condricted yourself. His job is to protect US. The UN's job is peace and democracy. OMG, believe it or not, they are the ones who throw they're motives and choices at people. In this world, Peace is by force. There is no flowers, the 70's was a joke because people would rather complain than take action. I was pointing to the 20's, was WW2 a waste? What did we do again. We took down a Nazi and Japanese Alliance. hmm. Why? They attacked us. We were also in a depression, this time and age. We can afford things. People complain because of greed. Everyone in America lives they're lifes out of greed and its true ( ... )
