You know, if you're that concerned about your armor, I could certainly give you some pointers about the maintainence and creation of magical items. It's my second area of expertise, right behind divination.

Also, you might want to avoid irritating the locals. Even if you handled those guys, everyone here tends to have a big brother. Not pleasant.
