Title: The King's Men

Description: Being resurrected is difficult. Sometimes you can't put the pieces back together again.

A/N: 1 of 2 fics written for Ficathon 2013. AU, modern day Tokyo. Not in the same universe but explores similar themes to Two Truths and a Lie.

I'm glad you like Neph's allergies! Imagine if he had nut allergies. My personal favorite part has to be Jadeite getting fat. Or not so much fat but losing his muscle tone. xD

Loved it. Desperately sad, of course. The Nephrite bits were my favourite part; there's such a thin line between running away and making a new life for yourself and he is blurring it. Thank you for this utterly fantastic read!

Thank you!!! Neph seems to be more popular than I expected in this piece. :) I love your take on the running away/making a new life, which is definitely his situation in a nutshell. Out of all of the Shitennou, he seemed like he would be the most adept at adjusting to everyday life in the modern world from his Maxfield Stanton persona (it's terrible how much more familiar I am with the anime than the manga).
