I'm becoming increasingly disturbed with the random happenings in this place. Being turned into a child, the strange melons, and this personality swapping now, which seems to have a second round occurring. I'm wondering who was affected by it, if there's anybody I should be wary of. The last time it happened, people seemed to become more aggressive

Samus' talk of a "dark world" was more than a little unnerving. I wasn't too keen on the idea of a world any darker than the one I spent every day in.

Even more unnerving was the thought of a pretty dame like Samus spending an entire festival all by herself. I wasn't much good at the romantic stuff, but I figured I might as well keep my hand in. I didn't know Samus too well, but I wouldn't mind getting to know her a little better. "Hey, uh... Next time you feel lonely, I'm always up for a night out with a friend."

A question I'd asked myself far too many times over the years. It was still good to hear it from Samus, though- still good to know there was someone out there who cared about this pitiful bag of meat, bones, and bullet wounds named "Gumshoe".

"Haven't been okay for a long, long time, Sam." I muttered, leaning against the wall with my arms crossed in the universal gesture of Man Not Caring. "But... thanks."
