Poor, poor lil guy....

My hamster passed. Sigh. I think I killed it...most by accident of course, but I don't know why he/she/it didn't live for very long. I feel irresponsible. I can keep a plant so there may be hope. But, gah...I feel terrible for finding the poor little squat thing, which really was precious, in a state of the un-living. Sigh.

Thanks for the consolations. He/She/It was in a glass cage and spooked out of its mind for the most part. I'm not sure he/she/it was happy in the brief life lived in a glass, rectangular box called 'home'. I'm not getting anymore creatures that are couped like that again. I took the Rodent from someone who couldn't care for it. Apparently, neither could I!

Ah, well....maybe Rodent is thrilled to be running on the Hampster Wheel in Heaven.
