Yeah, this guy gave the first album a pretty negative review. In retrospect though, it is indeed a mish-mash of ideas and layers and layers of sounds all thrown together. Kinda like a kid making a cake containing every ingredient to hand, all mixed together with joy and glee and funfunfun. Some people appreciate the creativity and enthusiasm in that and some people say "yes, but it doesn't taste like a professionally-made cake, does it?" Although I have to give the reviewer credit for appreciating the brilliance of "Evil Bear", which I still rate as one of top 3 pieces of music Sean has ever written.

It's way better than the one he gave the first Tom Bosley album, and probably better than the one he gave the first Sharkweek too. But on the other hand, I don't feel like I can take that much credit for this review since only 3 of the mixes are mine.
