Why should you beg forgiveness for a perfectly human error? Sleep is a pretty damn good excuse in my mind.

And... it's just a watchpost. It's not like a job interview or anything.

If anyone gives you hell tell them to organise one next time :P

I ended up sleeping all yesterday as well, so don't feel bad.

And to repeat the sentiments above, a watchpost isn't terribly important. *pats*
