it's that time of year

Baby, It's Cold Outside:  It's officially winter.  This week, I not only had to wear my down coat, I even needed my hat and scarf, and today I finally broke down and got out my gloves.  It's been down in the 30's the past few days, windy and cloudy.  It's supposed to get nasty this weekend, too.

But I do not say this in despair.  Because despite the ( Read more... )

THAT IS THE BIGGEST GODDAMNED DOG I HAVE EVER SEEN. HOLY SHIT! Are you sure they didn't breed a dog with a horse?!

And I LOOOOOOOVE these pictures! It really makes me miss home, because everything you took pictures of, you can also find in Michigan. So these pictures look like home, and it makes me hate the fact that I'm stuck in the middle of this giant, smelly, noisy city right now!!!! But GORGEOUS pictures... I'm totally jealous.

These are wonderful pictures. I always love your picture posts. You tell the story so well along with them, too. I always love seeing the countryside in Indiana, too. Maybe partly just because I grew up there, driving with my parents to visit relatives in the country, or taking Sunday afternoon rides in the car in the country outside Indianapolis just for something to do. Some people think it is not dramatic enough to be interesting, but I find the subtlety of the landscape quite beautiful in its own way.

I'm going to have to download these to keep on my computer so I can look at them again and again. You actually could frame a couple of those barn pictures, they are really great.

Love ya, kid!

AAAAAHHHHHH I LOVE THOR! And he looks like the best napping buddy ever. Dude, after turkey, my body just like shuts down. My head hits the table, and I'm snoring. Pair that up with a good white wine, and I'm comatose *LOL*

I loved these pictures--I always like seeing new parts of the world through somebody else's eyes--especially a place like Indiana, which just seems so far from the big city world I'm used to.

YOU'RE ALMOST DONE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING?! Holy eff. I haven't even started yet.

xoxoxo

Gah, it sounds like the Oregon and Illinois weather is about the same, it's been so cold here. But I love that scarf, you look so lovely in that color!

I'm talking with you right now, but once again I must say how much I adore these pictures! Scenic landscape photographs are so great to see, and the pictures of you with your family are so adorable. I must jump on the 'OMFG BIG DOG' bandwagon, LOL. Like Lisa said, though, he must be a great snuggle/napping buddy.

I'm glad you and your family had a good Thanksgiving! Love you, honey!
