of last days, teapots, and felines in boxes

A Strange Education:  Friday was my last day working at the A. S.  I've definitely been enjoying these last few days of not having to wake up at 5:45 in the morning, but all the same, I miss my coworkers.  Especially Nikki, Sarah, Dave, Kathy, Maria and the two Jennifers.  Those were my peeps, LOL.  The seven of them were the people I became ( Read more... )

Aww, I'm so glad you had such a great last week at work, honey, and that you're co-workers gave you such a great send-off. You obviously met a lot of great people, and they clearly enjoyed having you working there with them. It's so wonderful when you have the opportunity to work around people you really get along with.

That's wonderful about your boss giving you a job offer! She obviously thought a lot of you to want you to continue working for her. And working at home is definitely a huge plus!

POTC BACK 2 SKOOL SET!!!11ELEVENTY!!! LOL. Nothin' like two scraggly, dirty pirates to say goodbye.

Sara's picture that she framed is really stunningly beautiful. That was so kind of her. I love gifts like that when people share what they love with you.

Love you, hon!

Chester is so sweet! And you look adorable.

Thank you, Kayla! :) I'm really happy with how things turned out. I never would've expected this summer to have turned out this way, but I can't complain about it at all!

Love you!

Hehehe, Chester is really good at winning over people who never thought they'd like cats. Ask Lisa, hehehe. :D

He's a real cutie. And he keeps getting back into the box and snoozing in it. It's hysterical.

HAHA. Cats love boxes. :) My sister's first Himalayan used to love to crawl inside our empty Mountain Dew boxes, with just her head sticking out the top. We have pictures of her somewhere, it's so cute. :) hahaha.

LOL, cats really do love boxes. And bags. Chester loves crawling into empty paper grocery bags, too. And haha, that's so cute about your sister's cat! :D

I am so glad that you enjoyed your job so much. I feel so proud of you for how you handled it, and stepped up to the job. I hoped that it would work out well and be a good experience, but I didn't even begin to envision that it would work out so very well. After all, you were only going to be there till the end of June, at first ( ... )

Aww, geez, thank you, mom. :)

I always hope to be able to give people a good impression; I worry about it a lot, as I'm sure you know. So it's been really nice to be received so well by people there.

Hehe, Chester is great. :D

And sure! Or I can come up, haha. But definitely. Maybe this weekend. :)

Love you!

First off, let me say--that cat is mine. MINE. i miss the furry bastard. He gave me my morning cuddles every day. He left half his fur on me, but STILL!

Second, AWESOME AWESOME shirt. What makes it even MORE awesome is that you somehow managed to find a shirt that has "Montreal", and absolutely no sign of hockey or the NHL. You don't understand--that shirt is a rarity. It's gold. It's the equivalent of being born with one motherfucking blue eyeballs and one brown one. That shit just doesn't exist here. THAT IS WHACK.

You can't get anything "Montreal" here that isn't slandered/glorified with 'OMFG WE IZ HOCKEY GAWDS!1!!!!!!1!1111"

Hang onto that shirt and wear it here. People will babble to you in french and you'll have no idea what they're saying but it'll be something along the lines of "OMFG MUNTREEEEALL HAZ BASEBALL SKILLZ?!?!ELEVENTY"

I think Old Navy was just like *blindly points at city* "Okay, let's do a 'sport' shirt for that one!" haha

Love you!
