Ew, wisdom teeth :-/ I still remember my dentist telling me to open wide, then going "MAN that's a big mouth!" If a big mouht means there's enough room for all the happy campers in there, then I love my jowls. I really hope you don't have to get them removed--if it's not touching thr gum, I don't really see a problem. Doctors, for some reason, like unnecessary surgery. It's fun for them, or something.

Good luck on your last week of classes--I'll try to be around a bit this week. I just still feel so blaaaah and I don't want to drag anyone else down with me--especially when you've got exams.

I like the idea of a potluck. I always say you can learn a lot about a person by food. Have a theme or something, it'll be loads of fun. but of course, don't party too hard, because two weeks later I'LL BE THERE.

Hey now, you're allowed to feel how you're feeling. Don't just sweep things under the rug because you think (wrongly) that it's an inconvenience to other people, because that will do you no good. *hugs*

Thank you, honey. :) I'm feeling pretty optimistic about the work I have left, so that's nice. And honey, you don't need to worry about 'dragging me down', because you don't do that. If you need to talk, then I'm more than willing to listen. But it's up to you; if you feel like you just need more time right now without talking, that's okay, too.

Potluck definitely has potential to be a lot of fun. And I totally agree about learning a lot about a person by food, hehe.

And party too hard? Pfft. Like you said, two weeks later YOU'LL BE HERE. And we can party hardcore. Or something, LOL.

Lemme tell you, I've had two wisdom teeth out, and it was kind of awesome. They put me under and I woke up feeling goooooood. There was almost no recovery pain whatsoever. And then, you know, I still have two more wisdom teeth and they haven't bothered me at all, so you may not have to get 'em out. But don't be scared if you do.

Hehe, if they can put me under, I don't think it'll be a problem. It's just that when they brought it up with me, I asked about what kind of anesthesia method they use for the procedure, and they said local would be fine. And I was like O_O "Oh hayell no I won't be conscious and aware of what's going on when this is done!" I seriously couldn't handle that. Just knowing that needles and other sharp objects are involved, and that I'd be able to see said sharp utensils if I was awake...god. I'm the girl who had a full blown panic attack, crying & shaking, over a butterfly needle. While it was in my arm. LOL I totally couldn't handle this

As for the birthday - I like the potluck idea. You could invite Ashwin among others. Now there is a thought. 24 - WOW. That is less than half my age, but it still makes me feel old, especially right now.

Send me birthday ideas. You know you are my favorite niece. Oh yeah, I forgot. You are my only niece. Well send me ideas anyway.

Thank you, Joyce! Yeah, last week wasn't too fun, but thankfully the wisdom tooth thing itself wasn't really painful, save for the teeth soreness thing. I've heard some people talk about how painful it was when their wisdom teeth came in, so I'm pretty lucky there. Tell Grandma I say hi and send love back!

Hehe, yeah, I like the potluck idea, too. Don't know about Ashwin, though - I really don't know him well enough to invite him to something like that, especially since the only other people who will probably be coming are actually close friends.

I hope you don't have to have your wisdom teeth pulled! Although, when I had mine done it actually wasn't bad at all -- the only time it hurt was right as the Novocaine was starting to wear off, and I could eat the night after I had it done. It's not the most fun experience, but it's nowhere near as bad as some people make it sound
