Okay folks, I finally got all the pictures uploaded! Haha, man, this post is gonna be a doozy, so this is DEFINITELY a non-dial-up friendly entry

First of all, I am so, so sorry about Sassy, sweetheart. *hugs* I know how hard it is to lose a family pet, especially when they've been in the family for so long. *lots and lots of hugs* Of course, you can always talk to me about it if you need to, but if not that's completely fine, too. :)
Awww, thank you, honey! If she wouldn't mind, I will definitely add your mom to my flist. I've read some of the comments she has posted on your and Lisa's entries, and she seems just as amazing as you. And, of course, I'd love to talk to the woman who is the mother of such a wonderful young woman. :)
I love all your pictures! It's always so much fun to see various parts of where someone lives, and all the animals are so great to see as well! I actually love reptiles -- as long as it isn't a snake, we're all good. LOL.
That picture of Chester and those last two pictures are adorable! What lovely faces you all have. LOL.
*hugs* Thank you so much, Kayla. :) I really appreciate the offer a lot; I think I'm pretty okay with it now, though, but still, thank you for offering. :)
And hehe, yay, you two are friended now. :D And goodness, you're too kind. *squeezes*
I'm really glad you loved all the pictures! I totally agree that it's always fun to get a chance to see things from where other people live. And hehe, I love most reptiles except for snakes, too.
I remember at the biodome, you and I stood there peering down into the water for five minutes, going "It's an anemonemonemone! an amenomomomomone! an amenomenone!", until your dad just finally said "It's an anemone." and we went "yeah, that". Good times ;)
Dude, did you do your fish impression for Bubba? He might have liked it. You may just have gotten an enthusiastic bubble out of him for your efforts, you know.
Lookit the size of those paws on that Komodo Dragon. He's all like "Boom bitch". Thing looks like Godzilla.
I'm so glad you had fun while Joyce and Dev were there, and thank you SO much for taking pictures of the dolphins. I named them all ;)
LMAO oh man, I totally remember that now, LOL! Good times, indeed. :D And haha, no, I didn't do my fish impression for Bubba. Bubba looked quite spacey, so I don't even know if he'd have noticed it or not, LOL.
Gah, seriously he was HUGE. O_O
I'm so glad it was so much fun, too, and you're more than welcome for the pictures of the dolphins! :D Thank you for the comment, honey. I love you!
Thank you so much, Leigh! I'm really glad you enjoyed them so much! :)
It's funny, my camera isn't even anything fancy really. It's a Canon A75; 3.2 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and 3.2x digital zoom. But I've been able to get a lot of really great pictures out of it, so I love it, even if it's not super-fancy like some of them are now.
Thank you so much for the compliment and for the comment! Much love to you, Leigh.
that diamond-topped building is the stone container building, i'm pretty sure. during orientation, i heard an awesome anecdote about the architect who designed it. ;)
i'm sorry about your kitty. i'm glad you had chester to cheer you up. *hugs*
That diamond-shaped building ALWAYS makes me think of "Adventures in Babysitting." Always, always, always! :) I really love your skyline pictures... I freaking love Chicago and need to go back again soon.
I've never seen that movie, but now you have me curious, hehe.
Thank you, Kathryn! I'm really glad you enjoyed them! I love getting pictures of the skyline here, because we really do have a beautiful one. And dude, the next time you come down here, let me know and we can meet up and get coffee or something! :)
Oh you HAVE to watch that movie! It's absolutely CLASSIC! And you'll know what I mean about the building; it plays a big part! Seriously, watch it and get back to me. I want a full report! ;)
