Fixing my Problem
Well good news! All my problems for trying to play the game have been subsequently removed. I took my computer into the people who originally upgraded my computer and they found out what the problem was. Apparently the Ram they installed into my computer was totally labelled wrong! what was written on the Ram was 2Ghz, what was actually in them was 256mb! So, problem obverted
