Because I could, and because the wonderful krissiecaps provided the screencaps, I went through Monday's episode (which has the most awkward name ever, I feel) and made some icons.

No lie, I enjoyed their segment more than the one with HG. Hope we see them again, they're such a cute pair. ♥ Snagged a couple icons, thanks for sharing. :D

I was right there with you. I mean, HG and Guest Star Ianto were fun, but Rebecca and Jack totally win; their banter was awesome.
(And then I actually had to say 'this doesn't take S3 canon into account' on my au_bigbang story; didn't see that one coming. XD)

Oh definitely, I like GDL and I'd be thrilled if he got cast as a main alongside JM in the spin-off. Course, given my main ship (Pete/Myka) sorta mirrors Jack/Rebecca's relationship (minus the romantic aspect) could be another reason I liked it so much. Déjà vu much?

Rebecca/Jack pretty much is my main ship with this show. (With a side of Claudia/Fargo. XD And Artie/MacPherson, but that's a much more toxic relationship in general.) So while part of me was hoping we'd get more about Gus, I will never say no to more of them.
It is indeed! And the events of the episode can still slot into the story as I wrote it, which I think is pretty awesome. I just wasn't expecting to get more canon for them.
