Comment-Fic Party!
What will we do with our Tuesday nights now that Warehouse 13 is finished? Well, for tonight, let's start a Comment-Fic Party!
I picked up this idea in the Myka/HG community and wanted to transfer it to a larger group of fans. How it works is that members post prompts in the comments connected to this post (one prompt per comment) and other members reply to those comments with fic.
Prompts can be as general or specific as you wish. A word, a phrase, song lyric, anything you want. And, since this is for the entire fandom, you are welcome to attach particular characters or pairings to a prompt or just leave them blank and let the writers fill with characters of their choosing. Here are some example prompts (and I'll add them to this post to get us started):
- You spin me right round, baby, right round; like a record, baby, right round right round - Pairing: Pete/Myka
- The last stick of gum
- Ferret-Pete on the loose - Character: HG Wells
Numerous people can respond to the same prompt; no need to call 'dibs'. And you don't have to contribute a fic in order to post a prompt.
