A lot of it bummed me tonight: Myka leaving, H.G. going crazy and then being sentenced to who knows what, and Pete losing Kelly (although I really didn't like her that much). All in all, it was a depressing episode. Not bad, but depressing.

The only happy parts where the Claudia and Artie moments.

You're not alone. I'm disappointed, too.
Not that it's not good writing, I just am upset to lose H.G., and if we lose Myka/Joanna, I am REALLY not happy.

Aw, damn, how sad. This show seems to be establishing a trend of becoming significantly darker than usual for the season finales.

I'm not too worried about Myka, though, I'm very confident that she'll be back.

I'm confident that she'll be back, too, but the finale just leaves you wanting to go cry and eat a bunch of ice cream. Oh SyFy, if you're going to give us these 10 months hiatus, can't you give us something a bit happier? But then again, where would the suspense be?

Thanks so much for the recap, even though i was actually able to watch the live streaming which was awesome!! But thank you so much for posting this.

I actually really loved the majority of this ep- a few things really really bothered me, but on the whole I thought it was quite powerful and well done. I do love angst and that ending was amazing. So sad and yet i really loved it.

Still it's going to be torture waiting for season 3 with a cliff hanger like that :( My poor Myka.

I know some fans (especially elsewhere) are all "what a waste of character" in regards to HG. Me, I loved how they played it. Jaime was marvelous as HG playing them all. I never once really trusted her. She knew exactly how to play Myka BUT I do think some small part of her really did like and admire Myka and that's why she ultimately let go of the Trident when Myka forced her hand ( ... )
