Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you like that line, it went through about a million incarnations before it got there. Next chapter's done, just polishing it, so keep an eye out!

This was fantastic! Everyone seems to have different ideas of how TenII would behave and I think so far this feels right. I think people forget sometimes that Rose changed, too, and so in some ways he'll have to get used to the new her just as much as she to him.

And can I just say I *LOVE* the idea to have them go into an adventure right on the heels of Journey's End. Trouble seem to follow the Doctor whether he's a human or a Time Lord, so that seems believable, and what better way to have Rose and TenII bond than over than a new adventure?

I love reading post-JE fics, but most of them seem to have them just driving home to live a normal life and having angsty trouble accepting it. While sometimes I really enjoy reading those fics, sometimes I just want to read something that feels like it could be an actual episode, and so far that's how this feels.

Great job and I look forward to more. (If you already posted more parts, I'll get to those next.) XD

Thank you!! I'm totally with you on post JE stories. Well, that's probably obvious--see above fic. I do love reading about angsty Rose and TenII and their domestic hell, but I can't help but think that the best way to see how things have changed between them (and how they've changed) is to throw them into a life threatening situation. That's the only life they've known as a pair, so for me that's where the drama is.

I haven't posted any other chapters yet, but I've written a fair amount and I'm working through the grueling editing process, so hopefully something will be popping up soon. Thank you so much for commenting, I really appreciate you taking the time!
