Warcraftsues, year two

Sep 16, 2008 02:57

Well, its been two years (more or less) since the first Warcraftsues post. And, as I won't be around for the actual rollover, I've decided it's time for an arbitrary year in review, complete with analysis of trends, random commentary, idle speculation and lots of typos.

Actually, more typos then anything else )

wikicrap, random, rak, comic, controversial statement

I have so many damned characters I can't be arsed to keep up with the wiki-ing, and most of my writing winds up corralled on one forum. I think people wind up getting bored of updating wikis (completely unsurprising).

The "cutefase" doesn't bother me. I'm a freak of nature. What does bug me is that, unlike the dudes, Troll women seem kinda stiff when they're idle. :-/

This.  If they're going to add more "fidget animations," the trollettes need attention.

Cutefases aren't a problem in and of themselves.  What bugs me isn't cutefases per se, but what seems to be a majority of cutefase-players.  "IM S00PER HAWT AND ELFS WNAT ME K?"  That sort.

Then again, I'd be a complete hypocrite to tar everyone who plays cutefases with the same brush.  But in my defense, none of my cutefases have that topknot (in fact, at least one will be getting a buzz cut when barbershops go live)  Most of them have respectable tusks.  I'd never go off about how hawt any of them are (I prefer to actually describe what my characters are supposed to look like, thank you very much).  And if any of them ever had scars...it'd be the warrior, an hour after the fight.  My excuse is that it's the only female troll face that's not actively mean-looking...and, although this bombastic fanthing seems to think that trolls are "evil," I strongly disagree.  (WTB more troll faces, pl0x ( ... )
