D'awww this one just sounds so earnest and reminds me way too much of my little brother who just started trying to roleplay and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MRP IS NOT THE PLACE TO POST YOUR FANFICTION.

What people don't realize is that someone who's just passing through an area scouting for roleplay is probably going to be put off by anything that takes longer than 30 seconds to read. There's a reason resturant menus don't list the recipe for every dish, guys.

You know, I hardly ever read the ones that are long enough I need to scroll down. It just doesn't seem worth it.

Same here, for the most part.
I'll scroll down the tiniest bit- mostly because I, myself, am very wordy and often have trouble keeping my own MRPs short- but even I can't tolerate these walls of pointless text.

Is your character's history or appearence really so interesting that I have to know about it before I've even met you?

The one part that really stands out to Deathy is the "I don't want the Scourge to be the cause of my death".

So, go ahead and kill me yourself, bind my soul into a rotting corpse, and force me to go and die at your whim, because that's so much better!
