whoa whoa whoa, what? wait, which one of the names that MRP mentions are cannon? i don't recognize any of them off the top of my head, and I'm far to lazy to look them up.
I have seen this guy before, and the "raceless" thing had raised some flags for me, so I had asked him about it at the time. I can't remember his full explanation, but he did mention how biologically he is a blood elf, but he has done so many things to himself to change himself, and his character refuses to identify with his species' culture, which was the reason why he was a proclaimed "raceless". it was more complicated than that, but I remember thinking his explanation was acceptable.
however, if he's in a relationship with a canon character, I may have to choke something.
I don't recognize any of the canon names, but that aside, I still find his "raceless-ness" eyebrow raising to say the least. This is one time where I would gladly accept some extended backstory- why does he feel this way? What happened to make him unable to identify with the Blood Elves? Why did this make him chop off an ear, blind himself, and tattoo himself?
I also can't help the feeling that he'd be treated like an utter freak after this, and wonder how on earth doing the things above sounded like "casting aside his racial blah blah blah".
I can't really remember much, I do remember however that I believe he was doing some sort of research, which might have something to do with the personal defacement.
It's such a shame. He was so helpful and well-behaved in the one random I happened to be grouped in with him. I was glad to find someone on my server like that, but not a day later and... this. :(

I get girls playing horribly-done uke stereotypes and shallow Erp-bait lesbians from dudes who don't know what a (Insert piece of female anatomy) is annoying but a) not your bsns b) waaay to alienate yourself. We're not gonna run up to you and let us know your gender or sex or whatever since you're a freaking stranger and sound like a creeper already.
This, seriously. My two main characters are male because that's what fits their personalities (and I cringe a bit whenever I see the female troll models). I don't start every random bit of RP I get involved in with "Hey, real quick, just so y'all know, these guys are guys but I'm a woman. Everyone okay with that?"
Because, well, most mature adults I know don't care.
Maybe there's something to that, Mr./Mrz. Japacheese. Just a thought.
