Defintely. I've done some posts of Foum RP a looooooong time ago, but certainly I see no reason why we shouldn't have more. Bad RP is still Bad RP, no matter what medium

The only thing keeping me from being a goddamn para-poster in RP is the stoopid WoW chatbox. Forum RP removes that handicap and you can type essays, if you like. Can you imagine dealing with PAGES of this horseshit?

Ugh. I dunno how any sane soul puts up with that 3:, kudos to you I guess. Though how anyone figures 'HEY WANNA RAPE MY CHARACTER?' is appropriate anywhere outside of a Darknest ad is beyond me.
Also the person used the word subby, they need to lrn2keep their Bdsm terms out of the context of rape, geez. Dunno enough on the subject to say but isn't the whoole point of the sub amd dom and everything in Bdsm is that its consenting?
Find it a shame he pretty much had to go ooc because some suey bint wanted to play the 'I r ic'ly morally superior lookit my people's excuse' card. Let's face it, he had pretty much no reason to leave the elf alive, especially with how he got grating on the racial history. I mean without knowing the character maybe he did have a speck of morality in the way of 'oh well so and so diid just save my life' but I doubt it.
Well, the only reason would be to avoid OOC godmoding.
A good RPer can make things like that work, there's not always one set way a well rounded character HAS to react.
The "You just saved my life, so I'll spare yours. This time." works.
Given that the Troll in question also seemed to be somewhat weakened from his time in captivity would be another viable excuse; if he wasn't 110% sure he could win and kill the Elf, it might not have been worth the risk of being killed after just having escaped...well...being killed.

Ohgods... I hate situations like this SO MUCH. Stupid like this should be able to be held accounted for ICA=ICC without having a protective umbrella of 'don't kill other peoples' characters' over their heads.
First thing I always try to establish in RP when I run it is that I don't meaninglessly kill characters. And a request to not just go and kill other characters right off the bat... But if the other person is either using this as a shield to be obliviously stupid, just not getting multiple hints or even deliberately baiting, they're free game.
