Actually, what really makes my eye go twitchy-twitch-twitch more than the weird metagamey bullshit or the Sunwalker crap is those fucking antennae. Every single failure piece of bullshit gooey-eyed fantard THIS IS AN OC DO NOT TOUCH fanart on dA sports that bullshit.

I don't know which anime hair trope infuriates me more - the antennae hair or the goddamn exhaust vent hair.

I can't find an example of it that's not in some way naughty, so I'll do my best to describe. Typically the character has bangs (whether they're animu see-through or not), and the hair on their head is parted in the middle, and before falling down off the head like any parted hair would, it inexplicably arcs up into a point (or semi-point) on either side AND THEN falls down the sides of the head/face. The way it's drawn makes it look like exhaust vents from the front.

Buuuuuuugs the crap out of me, mainly because the character it's attached to is usually the "adorably-braindead female love interest" trope.

Eh, it's not really 'man hate' to me as 'human hate' though they did give her a feminist complex. Depended on the writer how far that was taken.

True, but she did throw out a few iconic phrases along the lines of "Oh surprise, another man"; "He's just a man Harley, I don't know what you see in him", etc. etc.

Personally, I really enjoy the underlying POSSIBLE unresolved sexuality towards women, her relationship with Harley went from "Big/Little Sister" to "Possible love interest she'll never admit it to while the other one is too oblivious to notice" on some occasions, loved it.
