Oh my god. "Abdel Adrian" is the name of the Gary Stu main character of the ridiculously horrible Baldur's Gate II novel. I can't believe I remembered that. I can't believe someone liked that book enough to name their character after it. Gah.

I totally commented without reading the whole thing because I went "WHATTT" when I saw the name. At least he owned up at the end. But the character "Abdel Adrian" wasn't in the game, he was from the novelization. And like I said, it was a terrible novel. Hilarious, but terrible.

LOL I read those too when I was, oh, 14-15 years old? I thought they were some of those epic gory fantasy stories evar. But that was ten years ago. But compared to THIS Gary Stu the real Adbel is a fucking masterpiece. I really hate human-but-is-really-some-omnipotent-being, Anveena was enough, and she's canon! /gag
