TRANSCODE Ξ010Υ7Θ [Locked to Time Lords]

Once again, broadcasting now on all frequencies, this is Ranifer|ZAAβAΣ from an alternate Gallifrey. I travelled here accidentally through a supertemporal Rift, possibly a Class EΩ caused by a destabilised Eye of Harmony. My authentification and identification are appended to this message. Contact me via secure protocol for time-space coordinates ( Read more... )

How often are you going to do this before you give up? It's a bit annoying.

I'm sorry the search for the rest of our species is annoying you, Doctor, but I, for one, am less than pleased at the prospect of being stuck on this planet - or in this universe or era - until humanity either invents suitable transport or makes contact with species who have it.

Didn't you mention a broken TARDIS? Are you planning on fixing it at any point?

Just an idle question. I wanted to be prepared.

I didn't say she was broken, I said she was stuck. In order to fix her, I'd have to be able to get inside. Her inside's a bit separated from her outside thanks to the Rift. Which is not

Have you checked to see if it' one of the models with a remote interface? If you can properly calibrate that, you should be able to re-establish the transdimensional conduit from outside the control room.

I'll ask her, but I think if it were that simple she would have mentioned something. She's very adamant about fixing things.

What "her?"

Would this be the TARDIS of the other Time Lady who was dropped here?

No, it's... my TARDIS. Not mine, strictly speaking, but some Doctor's TARDIS. Not important.

So who is this mysterious 'her' to whom you've been referring?

The TARDIS. If you must know.

...well, you've only become more sentimental.

Do I need to bring you something which will scan for remote protocols, or would you like to commune with the machines a while longer?

I'm not being sentimental or anthropomorphizing. She's conscious. Awake. I'd ask her to say hello, but I don't think she'd like you much.

And no, thank you. I think I'll manage fine on my own.

Manage quickly.

Right. I'll get right on that, since you asked so nicely.
