Today I got my CD of All Shook Up (the Broadway cast, of course) in the mail, and I've been feeling all mushy about listening to the same songs Alice-chan was listening to and singing and everything. ^___^ I was interested to find that the songs for Natalie aren't in a very low range at all - I guess they just seem lower for a musumeyaku

I can't wait to see if All Shook Up has changed her Takarazuka style at all. It was so different to Takarazuka, I mean, not that much more different than any other 'normal' musical, but still, you know what I mean, and she did really well, and I want to see what she'll take from that performance back to Takarazuka ♥

That is fascinating! And also very strange that it's mislabeled (at least on Cherry Blossoms)! Because it's so clearly the Valencia theme. Strange, but well, cool! :D And damn, the pipes on those two girls... <3

But it says what Cherry Blossoms says in the programme, too! I'll have to actually watch the whole thing (which I haven't done in forever, since I have all the songs as clips in iTunes) and find the MC bit that goes with it and see what that says.

But what is this talk of Dawn Wind being her last shinko? They should have one more! *shakes head* Oh Hankyu, you confuse me so sometimes.

I suppose the way she worded it she could have meant after the next shinko this year (there's some ambiguity in Japanese concerning "last time / this time / next time"), but I'm not sure. I do hope the 88ths have one more shinko after Dawn Wind.

After the whole thing with Masao thinking she had one more shinko after PariSora and then Koma surprising people and being in the Je t'aime shinko at all, I'm just hopelessly lost as to what the special brand of Hankyu logic is when it comes to determining when exactly shinko eligibility ends. It's starting to seem like it really may just be one more Hankyu's whims and be dependent on the individual circumstances.

I wonder if it's a certain number of shinkos... Or if it's just how popular certain babies are, like "we really like this girl and want to promote her even though she's past shinko age"...

*cough* Like Chie in BeruBara 2006 - all the other 85ths were out of shinkos by then, but they seem to have made an exception for her? :S

...Yeah, I'm pretty much lost on how it works too. @___@

If by "the other way round" you mean that every time *I* mention her vaguely I love her even more... Well, you know, loving Alice-chan has become so ingrained in every fiber of my being that it's hard to say, but somehow little things do make my love continue to grow. That's the strange thing about love, of course; there always seems to be more. :)

If by "the other way round" you mean do I cry at little tidbits of squee you give me / us about Ayane-chan and love her even more... then yes. <3 <3 <3
