Besides being Teru's partner in Robert Capa, she also briefly flirted with Teru in a scene from Luna Rossa (not a dance or duet or anything, just a "hey, you~" gesture).
It'd better be Urara-chan, IMO. It's absurd how Asuka is the only Soragumi-born to become top musumeyaku in the Revue's history.
Rumors are also saying that Mirion might slide in. I dunno, I suppose it could work, but they should at least give Teru someone she's already partnered with :/
:\ I like Mirion and all, but as you said it makes way more sense for them to pair Kaname with someone she's already worked with. To some degree it seems like a "their faces look good together" kind of pairing anyway.
Then again, they brought in Ume-chan for Tani when they'd only performed together once or twice, and not as a romantic couple at that. Of course that was after they'd already "married off" most of Tani's other options (Mihoko, RuiRui, etc).
(*laughs* Most people don't remember that Asuka was "Sora-born" anyway, considering she spent all her "growing up" years in Hanagumi ^^;;)
Definitely think they're grooming her to take on the top musumeyaku with Kaname. This is assuming that Kaname will be top of Soragumi after Yuuhi. I'm 98% sure this will happen, but there's always that element of bizarre surprises with the company. Yay for Urara getting another shinko lead!
