Just had a thought. Alice-chan will be in Osaka for the final run of Untouchables on the 28th. I wonder if she'll use the opportunity to go and see Soragumi in Mura afterward? Oh, I hope she does ♥
Speaking of that Soragumi show, ey, the shonichi digest is
up on YoutubeFirst thought: wtf is up with, like, all of Yuuhi's costumes? There isn't a

I actually liked the pastel, they kind of illustrate Mitsunari's undying desire to stay pure and honest even though there are times he can't. But I was slightly peeved that they changed the poster battle costume to a blue theme. I liked it purple ^^;; (Btw I know this sounds kind of stupid but, um, what was your opinion on her hair?)
I normally hate turbans on tuxes. This time it was just plain hilarious XDDD And the musumeyaku were beautiful too.
it is the weirdest thing to see Kaname as Yuuhi's nibante.
You know what though? I actually was surprised at how they actually worked well together. They look much better than I ever expected. I wasn't too moved when I saw them in the okeiko clips but seeing them together onstage had me convinced.

Anyway I went back and looked at Yuuhi just for you ;) Um... so Mitsunari wears his hair kind of like an anime character, huh? That low ponytail can't be at all practical for fighting ^_^;; It's really not just her, though -- overall the unrealistic hairstyles are a bit distracting. I imagine the non-period dialogue is as well?

I'm kind of used to her hair after looking at all the pictures and digests, but when I first saw that hair on shonichi I really wanted to hit the dislike button XD IT JUST WASN'T THE MITSUNARI I WAS USED TO IN JAPANESE HISTORY TEXTBOOKS - -;; Now I think it's kind of cool, but still ^^;;
The non-period dialogue was just as inconsistent as the hairstyles. Chacha was mostly speaking in period dialogue whereas some other characters - I think mostly the Seven Spears - were speaking in modern Japanese. It was pretty weird - -;; The rock music with the traditional Japanese music actually worked much better than I expected though.
But Ishida-sensei really wasn't so clear about whether he wanted to modernize it or keep it sengoku. In fact when I read the zadankai article I just had no idea what the heck the man wanted to do ^^;;;
